TNPSC Group 4 Exam Results and Mains Exam Dates 2024-2025
Introduction
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially announced the results for TNPSC Group 4 preliminary examination on December 12, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their results via the official TNPSC portal at tnpsc.gov.in. To check their results, candidates will need to enter their roll number and date of birth. Along with the results, the Commission has also released the list of candidates selected for the TNPSC Group 2 Mains examination.

TNPSC Group 4 has shortlisted 7,987 candidates for the Group 2 Mains exam, and 21,822 candidates for the Group 2A Mains exam. These candidates have successfully passed the preliminary stage and are eligible to take the next step in the recruitment process.

4. TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be eligible for the TNPSC Group 4 exam, there are two main factors to consider:
- Educational Qualification
- Age limit.
Additionally, nationality and physical standards are taken into account when determining eligibility. Let’s take a closer look at each of these factors individually.
I. Group 4 Educational Qualification
TNPSC Group 4 Exam requires a minimum educational qualification of 10th Standard/SSLC for all posts. Applicants must have completed their SSLC or 10th Standard education as of the notification date of the TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2025.

II. Group 4 Age Limit 2025
The age limit for the TNPSC Group 4 Exam is calculated as of 1st July 2025. The minimum age requirement is 18 years, and the maximum is 32 years for all applicants. However, for certain categories and based on the applicant’s community and educational qualifications, the maximum age limit can be extended to 58 years, considering the reference date of 1st July 2025.

The upper age limit for candidates appearing for examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu Government would be relaxed by two years.
