About the Darpan Goa Recruitement Role
As a Field Supervisor/Outreach Worker, you will be at the forefront of outreach efforts, helping to reach vulnerable and high-risk groups, including Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM), injecting drug users (IDUs), and female sex workers (FSWs). Your primary responsibilities will involve providing HIV prevention education, conducting outreach programs, and ensuring proper linkage to treatment and support services for individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Community Mapping & Outreach: Identifying and mapping high-risk groups within the community and establishing rapport with them to encourage participation in HIV prevention programs.
- Client Recruitment and Counseling: Actively recruiting clients, providing essential counseling, and helping them access HIV testing and treatment.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of outreach activities, client details, and follow-up visits as per program guidelines.
- Support & Linkage: Facilitating the referral of individuals to appropriate health services and ensuring continuous support through the program.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Ensuring effective monitoring of outreach activities and participation, contributing to regular program assessments.

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A degree in health, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in community outreach, HIV prevention, or health education will be an advantage.
